Round Top: Spring 2025 (pt. 1)

It wouldn’t be Round Top, without a pit stop at the Ellis Motel.

My first spring Round Top - I typically go in the Fall because more venues are open. But let’s just say, I might convert to more spring shows. We had the best experience because the weather was incredible. Typically the Fall shows are really really hot, unfortunately.

It was lovely browsing around with my college friends- to get away from the city life and sneak away to get some inspiration!- Just what the doctor ordered.

We started in the morning, early, leaving the city before 8am so that we could get to Blue Hills when it opens. This way, we can be the first ones and beat the crowd. It really starts getting busy around 10:30-11:00. I prefer to knock out Blue Hills and then head to lunch & that is just what we did!

We headed to Bybee Square- a must visit when you go to Round Top. It feels like you are in a movie. One stop light, old buildings, only one way in and one way out.

Lunch was at The Garden Company - probably my favorite lunch spot. There’s something about a girl’s day that makes me crave a sweet tea and a chicken salad sandwich & The Garden Company has just that!

After a breezy lunch - we headed to Ellis Motel. You really can’t come to Round Top without grabbing a drink here. It is the heart of the town - a place with live music, fun people, and great conversations. Cheesy, but it is true.

The outfits - like always are important. This was a last minute Round Top for me - so I had limited time planning. I typically would wear a dress or skirt but I still think I fit right in!
