Williams Design Studio, founded by Makayla Williams in 2026, is a full-service interior design firm serving the greater Atlanta area. Specializing in high-end residential interiors, the studio creates thoughtfully layered homes that balance timeless design with modern living. Known for incorporating bold color, rich textures, and curated patterns, each project is designed to feel both sophisticated and deeply personal. Makayla's passion for design began at an early age, inspired by the way thoughtfully designed spaces can shape everyday life. That passion led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture from The University of Tennessee, where she developed a strong foundation in design theory, construction, space planning, and architectural detailing. Following graduation, Makayla relocated to Austin, Texas, where she spent nearly 5 years designing custom residences for a high end residential design firm as a designer and project manager. She collaborated closely with homeowners, architects and builders from initial concept through final installation. This experience refined her ability to seamlessly blend creativity with technical expertise while managing every detail of the design process. Now, Makayla has returned to her Georgia roots to establish Williams Design Studio, bringing with her years of professional experience and a passion for creating homes that are as functional as they are beautiful. While building her business, she is also embracing her favorite role—raising her young family—which has further shaped her appreciation for homes that are designed to support both everyday living and meaningful moments. Makayla believes every home should tell the story of the people who live there. Rather than chasing trends, she focuses on creating layered, collected interiors that evolve over time and reflect each client's unique lifestyle and personality.
