Round Top: Fall 2024 (pt. 1)
There’s nothing quite like having a much-needed leisure day with your interior designer bestie. Let me just say, being in this industry makes it so much more fun when you have community surrounding you.
Ellis Motel - always lively & a great place to meet other designers after a long day of shopping.
Anna Nicole and I set out to Round Top early so that we could have a jam-packed girls' day.
Starting at our favorite, Blue Hills—it really is tried and true. Get there when they open to score good deals and good finds! You could spend the whole day here, but you have to keep moving if you want to get to a well-deserved lunch.
Make sure you grab a reservation at Lulu’s. It's located in the heart of the historic Bybee Square. It is an upscale, rustic-chic Italian restaurant and bar set in a beautifully restored 19th-century stone building. We loved sitting in the bar, a very moody, well-designed space, while we had a glass of wine and talked to some locals.

Then, we headed over to Ellis Motel and Kemo Sabe. This area of the square typically has live music and fun pop-ups. A perfect spot to mingle and grab a drink (or drop off your husband to watch some football, HA!).

We made a quick pitstop at The Horseshoe, another iconic vendor location. These vendors have more curated collections and pieces. A pricier location!
We ended the day at The Compound, a new Round Top location for me. It was charming, and I think I love it just as much as Blue Hills (that is a BOLD statement!).
