Round Top: Fall 2023
If you know anything about Round Top, it is more than a shopping trip - it is a fashion show, treasure hunt and weekend event.
State Highway 237 turns into a sprawling treasure map of European antiques, architectural salvage, moody textiles, and relentless interior inspiration (my dream!)
The Fall 2023 show was one for the books.. it was my first time and I can confidently say it is worth the hype.
But, you will want to have a game plan before you arrive because it can be overwhelming due to the amount of vendors and event locations.
The Iconic: BLUE HILLS
Had to get a picture in front of the landmark!
Blue Hills is mandatory, no questions. It spans across 26 acres, iconic rustic pole barns and white-framed displays, it sets the bar for high-end antiquing. Standing under the marquee outside the main barn—surrounded by giant stone urns, oversized iron mirrors, and rustic wooden benches—you immediately feel the Texas-meets-European energy that makes this venue special.
Vendor 1: Find & Favor
I brought home some candles from Find & Favor!
Stepping into the booth for Find & Favor was like entering a cozy, textured dream. Their space was filled with oversized statement candles in dusty olive and terracotta tones, hide-covered dining chairs, dark moody walls, and organic stone beads layered over warm wooden tables. They mix everyday luxury with raw, natural elements.
Vendor 3: The M Downtown
It’s giving a little boy’s room in a cabin.
For a punch of character and vintage drama, The M Downtown brought serious design vision. Their space featured a pair of sage-green faux-bamboo headboards styled against deep pine-green walls, topped with vintage umbrellas mounted like art, taxidermy pheasants, and warm ochre lamps. It felt like walking into a historic moody estate with a modern twist.
Vendor 4: Kristin Mullen Designs
My mom was so close to buying some serving pieces.
Walking through Kristin Mullen Designs was breathtaking, she embodies classic European layering. From vintage French bread boards hung with framed landscape paintings to delicate white creamware ceramics stacked neatly on light grey shelving, every corner showcased Kristin’s signature eye for quiet sophistication and timeless charm.
Vendor 5: Harris Fyfe
Dreaming of this hanging in my dining room one day!
The soft, neutral beautiful art at Harris Fyfe stopped me in my tracks. Featuring muted, hand-painted style cypress trees and soft misty hills on flowing linen panels, her work is showstopping. Her dogs are pretty cute too!
Vendor 6: East End Salvage
Yellow + Terracotta color combo 10/10
No trip is complete without East End Salvage a Texas native vendor! delivered in spades. I loved their display was a paradise of honey-glazed confit pots, rustic terracotta bowls, I could have spent all day in the booth..
My takeaways from Round Top Fall 2023 are…
Wear BOOTS!!!
Dress over the top.
Get a good lunch.
Stay hydrated.
Get there early!!!
