Jackson Hole, Wyoming

There’s something magical about heading west after Christmas. It’s a tradition my family has kept for the last decade, and something we look forward to year after year.

For the past couple of years, we’ve been traveling to new ski towns—a fun shift for us. We love Vail; it’s where we always return because nothing quite compares, but this year, we headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Staying central is crucial in Jackson Hole. Instead of a ski-in/ski-out hotel (which I normally prefer), Jackson Hole requires a different approach because the town and the ski base are separate. I’d recommend staying at a local hotel right in town or booking an Airbnb halfway between the two.
